FIX AUTO UK HITS A SIX
Fix Auto UK’s remarkable growth in Northern Ireland continues at a pace with the group making its sixth appointment in four years. The network is delighted to reveal Newcastle Accident Repair, founded and managed by the award-winning spray painter Danny Matheson, has joined and will now operate as Fix Auto Newcastle NI.
The latest appointment extends the network’s ability to conservatively repair more than 650 vehicles a month with plenty of scope to increase that figure. Putting the network’s achievement into perspective, prior to the appointment of Fix Auto Lagan Side in November 2021, it had no presence in the region.
Danny, who, in 2009, was named as the industry’s Spray Painter of the Year by Bodyshop Magazine, started his business during the summer of 2016 from a humble single-sized unit, today he’s operating out of a modest, state-of-the-art, 4,000sq ft unit which is at the heart of a newly built industrial estate which provides him with a great opportunity expand further.
Danny sailed through his BSI 10125 audit with a 100 per cent pass. Significantly, Fix Auto Newcastle NI is strategically positioned to support Fix Auto Lagan Side and Fix Auto Saintfield by serving motorists south of Belfast.
Commenting on joining the network, Danny said: “I’m a spray painter by trade and I take immense pride in every repair that goes out of my unit. I am extremely proud of where I have brought my business to but, like those franchisees who have already taken the step and joined Fix Auto UK, I am ambitious and I am a realist which means I know I need that extra element of help, support and guidance that comes with being part of the network to help me fulfil my ambitions. Going forward, I need to be part of a group of ambitious like-minded bodyshops.”
