Top Motor Industry Award for Terence Donnelly OBE
The National Franchised Dealers Association Spring Ball returned to the Grove in Hertfordshire recently to celebrate industry excellence. Bringing together dealers, manufacturers, and senior automotive stakeholders, the event offered an evening of fine dining, entertainment, and networking opportunities.
The event was hosted by the charismatic TV presenter Mark Durden-Smith. Additionally, the NFDA welcomed Sean Fitzpatrick, former World Cup-winning professional rugby player and All Blacks Captain, as the guest speaker for the evening.
Mark Durden-Smith and NFDA Chairman David Newman took the stage to host the Awards ceremony.
Terence Donnelly OBE was honoured with the Industry Personality of the Year Award, sponsored by Indeed. Terence has been an active NFDA member in Northern Ireland and has been pivotal in establishing NFDA NI, significantly contributing to its growth and influence with the Northern Ireland government and decision-makers.
It’s been a great start to the year for the Dungannon based Group Executive Chairman as earlier this year he received his OBE from Her Royal Highness Princess Anne.
Terence, who is believed to be the only individual in Northern Ireland to have been honoured for services to the motor industry, joined the family-owned business in 1969 and has led Donnelly Group to become Northern Ireland’s largest independently owned vehicle retailer, with nine branches across the province offering vehicles from 18 manufacturers.
