Castrol backs Creighton in British Rally Championship

William Creighton, from Moira, County Down got his championship off to a great start by winning the first round of the 2025 Probite British Rally Championship BRC, the East Riding Stages. Motorsport Ireland Rally Academy driver William Creighton is competing in a Castrol-sponsored Toyota GR Yaris Rally2.

The former Junior World Rally Champion said, “The first event of the season is always crucial, and with the rally being such a short and intense event, there’s no margin for error. There is some impressive competition in the BRC this season and from last years’ experience, I know that it can be a long fight, so good but consistent results are crucial.

“It was our first rally in the car and we hadn’t done so much before the event and with such tricky conditions, it just felt good; I’m happy for everyone supporting us.

“It’s a real honour to be wearing the Castrol colours and great to give them the win too.”
