He partnered Marco Pagni in a historic Ferrari 750 Monza in the 5 day 2000km marathon event that runs from Brescia to Rome and back to Brescia, stopping at Desenzano and San Marino, as well as Siena, Modena, Parma and Bergamo…
Garage Trader caught up with Terence and Marco at a special evening celebrating their homecoming at Donnelly Group’s Dungannon dealership.
‘’It was such an amazing experience. I’ve been around cars all my life but I have never experienced such excitement as we did at the Mille Miglia. I thought I knew about it, but really I didn’t know anything about it. The star of the show was the car itself. It’s a 1954 Ferrari 750 Monza factory race car. It competed in the 1954 Le Mans 24 Hours and the Moroccan Grand Prix that year as well. The engine is a straight 4 cylinder 3 litre and it’s extremely light, weighing only 750kg, so it corners very well and it’s quite a torquey engine.’’
