Schaeffler’s plans to relaunch its REPXPERT Academy roadshows have been given a major boost, thanks to the incredible number of people pre-registering for the first event, which will take place at the sparkling new Bridgend College STEAM campus on May 21st.
Over 200 technicians and garage owners have expressed an interest in attending the event to take advantage of a full day of free training, presented in the concise and informal format which proved so popular when the concept was launched at Lincoln College late in 2019.
Schaeffler Technical Manager, Alistair Mason, said; “Presenting the resources that REPXPERT offers in an informal live format, where attendees can get hands-on with a wide range of products, tools and systems, is obviously what mechanics are looking for – judging by the numbers we have signing up for the Bridgend Academy Live event. The Schaeffler team is currently visiting workshops in the South Wales area to raise awareness of the REPXPERT garage support programme, along with its many benefits, in the lead up to the event.
Alistair continues; “Knowledge sharing is at the heart of the REPXPERT programme, so whether we’re sharing the idea behind it, the resources it makes available, or the product installation training that is such a major part of it, we will be putting its objectives into practice with garage owners that are looking to ensure the long-term future of their businesses and technicians wanting to improve their skills.
